Day Five Part Five

This starts with me going down in an elevator. I know, deadly boring. But then it goes into Sunday Night Lunch and the descendants panel! The last two people in the table (after you see Betsy as a bride) are "Carney's" daughter, Louise King and her daughter Caroline. (Stay tuned for more footage of them in the panel!) Then Jennifer Hart - who is a HERO for all she has done to get the HS books back in print- is speaking on the legacy panel. She is followed by Pat Neville-Downes, niece of Vera Neville, who was just as nice and funny as can be. I probably should have voice-overed part of this, but I am getting tired!

Day Five Part Four

I now do to Tacy's House what I recently did to Betsy's House. Bore you to death with it... But there is footage of the coffee pot and the brass bowl! And it isn't like this is just for you - I will want a record of my annoying voice going on and on as I scream by pictures of the crowd that you can barely see. The funniest thing about this is the beginning where Radhika nags me to "pan slower" and it is the first time in any of these videos that the production looks good! Then I tell her to stop nagging me and it is back to motion sickness city once again!

Day Five Part Three

Here is a really long, shaky camera-ed tour of Betsy's house. And then Radhkia and I painfully (more painfully for her, as it turns out) looking for pavers from Maud-L folk! This is a long one, and only for die-hards. But Radhika gets injured, in a funny, Bugs Bunny-like way...

Day Five Part Two

And here is Sunday afternoon on Hill Street with Barb and Radhika!

Day Five (Sunday, If you are keeping track) Part One

And here is a tour of my hotel room. Dull, I know. But brief! And I intended to put it up for those of you who weren't at the convention and were dying for more information. But I was having too much fun!

What Happens in Mankato...

Here is the "Who would you spoon from Deep Valley?" interview. The respondents are:
Cari, Angie, Andrea, Radhika, Kristin, Kristin, Julie, Sallie, Melissa, Jan, Kathy, Mary, Susann, Laurie B-Z, Kathleen W., Katie, Elizabeth, Theresa, Cindy, Susan, Melody, Lani, Deborah, Kaaren (the event coordinator who hasn't read the books, but was persuaded by the debate), Jen D-K, Holly, Louise, Jessica, Deb, Elizabeth, Michelle and ME!

Day Four Part Two

This may not be for family viewing as it takes place at the Perfectly Awful Girls' Night out Saturday at the Red Sky Lounge. There was a debate Tony vs. Joe, Joe won. Then the lead debaters from either team - in this case Michelle and Louise - debated who was the most untrustworthy with the beaux of others, Bonnie or Irma. Then those who outlasted the bar came back to Jen any my room for a game of "Marry, Date or Dump". No wonder it took me three days after the convention to catch up on my sleep!
